Get To Know Us!

Establishing trust and building a positive relationship is a priority for us and by sharing with you how Starlets of Pawsperity got it's start, we can begin to build that trust as you make the decision to choose us as your pet-care services company.

My name is Stefanie Domsky and I have loved animals for as long as I can remember. I have owned cats and dogs, and am currently the Mom to two wonderful Shih-Tzu dogs named Bailey and Studley. Can I add that they are the apples of my eye?? They are my four-legged children and very spoiled members of my family. Their toy boxes are overflowing and they push and prod me in bed each evening.                                                                   

After college, Corporate America called my name and I was in the Healthcare Reimbursement Field for over 20 years. Managing up to 26 employees was a challenge, but one I thoroughly enjoyed.

With that being said, when I had to go out of town for a week with my job, I was doing research on trying to find a place that would treat my four-legged family members as well as I do each day in my absence. Bailey and Studley's well being, daily routine, and having someone there to care for them all night were the most important things to me. Well, after DAYS of tireless research and investigating, I did find a company that did 'host family' pet care. How it works is you were matched up with an appropriate host family, and they would take care of them day and night, in their home. I trusted the company, that they would do a background check on the family AND their home, so I went ahead and booked the services. After all the paperwork was filled out, I was told that I could not call and check on my pets at all. "WHAT???? Why not??" was my question! Here is what I was told: "The rules of the company and to protect the host family."

After that experience, I knew that if I had such a difficult time finding personalized pet-care for my own pets, others must be having the same issue. I told myself if ever the right opportunity/time presented itself, I could help others with their pet-care needs too. And so Starlets of Pawsperity was born!!
