1) Are you bonded and insured?

ABSOLUTELY! All team members are bonded and insured through Pet Sitters Associates, LLC. We also have an additional "special property coverage AND pet day care coverage" policy.

2.) Are background checks done on all team members?

ABSOLUTELY! Hiring the right people is ESSENTIAL at Starlets of Pawsperity and our team members are put through a rigorous hiring process. Criminal background checks, verification of personal and professional references, as well as behavior based hiring techniques are done on ALL team members before they are hired. In addition, they all take a pet cpr/first aid class before caring for any pets.

3.) Will the same pet-sitter care for my pet(s) during the time-frame I booked services?

YES! And we actually prefer it! Bonding with the pet(s) we care for is very important; therefore, we try and make every effort to have the same pet-sitter care for your pet(s). The only reason why the pet-sitter would not be the same is if an emergency arose and the back-up pet-sitter needed to fill in.

4.) Do you have references I may contact?

ABSOLUTELY! We understand that allowing someone to care for your home and pet(s) can be a stressful endeavor. We understand first-hand what you are feeling.......as we have hired our own pet-sitters in the past, so we have been in your shoes! We want to make you feel as comfortable as possible with your decision to hire us; therefore, we welcome you to contact some of our current clients who utilize our services.

5.) Are there specific breeds of dogs you will not care for?

NO! Regardless of breed, the criteria for becoming a client of Starlets of Pawsperity remains the same. The temperament and demeanor of the dog(s) are the most important factors. We will not service dog(s) that are aggressive towards our team members.

In order to qualify for our dog boarding services, the dog(s) must be socialized with people and other pets AND be up to date with their vaccinations. For these reasons, we have a very detailed registration process and perform a free Meet and Greet Consultation for every service we provide.

6.) Will the information I provide you remain confidential?

ABSOLUTELY! Privacy is very important to us and your personal information will NEVER be disclosed to any third parties. The information you provide us upon registration is used solely to provide excellent care for your pet(s) and home.

7.) What if I live outside the service area?

Depending upon your specific pet-care needs and your exact location, we welcome the opportunity to provide service for anyone who is outside our normal service area. Please note that additional fees may apply. Please call us to discuss your specific needs and your location, so we can come up with the best option(s).

8.) Is it acceptable to tip the pet-sitter?

Gratuities are never expected, but always appreciated for exceptional service. 100% of the gratuities go to the pet-sitter performing the service.

9.) What happens if my pet becomes ill while I am away?

Our priority is your pets' health and happiness while you are away. We realize there is the possibility that your pet could require some type of veterinary care while under our supervision. During the registration process, we ask for your preferred veterinary information as well as an emergency contact in case we cannot reach you. Depending upon the scenario, we would do our best to contact you first; however, seeking medical care is the first priority. We have relationships with the local veterinarians and have emergency preparedness precautions should your pet need care after hours or on a holiday when your regular veterinarian is not available.

10.) What are my payment options and when is payment due?

We proudly accept credit cards (Visa, MasterCard, Discover), PayPal, Checks, and Cash.
